How to Make Banana Dessert

Ingredients for Banana Snack

  • Ripe bananas, 10 pieces (600-650g)
  • Rice flour, 80 grams
  • Tapioca flour, 40g
  • Thao Yai Mom wheat flour, 1 tablespoon
  • Coconut milk, 260 grams
  • Sugar, 130g (increase to 150g for sweeter taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • Finely chopped coconut, 1/2 piece
  • Banana leaves, small cups or molds

Instructions for Making Banana Dessert

  1. Peel the banana skin and cut them into small pieces. Set aside.
  2. Mix rice flour, tapioca flour, and arrowroot starch together.
  3. Add coconut milk gradually to form a smooth batter. Knead for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the bananas, white sugar, and salt. Mix well, ensuring the bananas are mashed but not too mushy.
  5. Stir in the remaining coconut milk. Mix again.
  6. Set up a steamer and pour the dessert mixture into small cups or molds. Sprinkle with coconut flakes.
  7. Steam over medium heat for 20 minutes until done.
