  • 200 grams roasted pork, sliced

  • 2-3 Thai bird’s eye chilies, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
  • 2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2-3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1-2 teaspoons fish sauce
  • 1-2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 cup broccoli florets or Chinese broccoli (kai-lan)
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)
  • Steamed jasmine rice for serving

Instructions:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and chopped Thai bird’s eye chilies to the pan. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.
  3. Add broccoli florets or Chinese broccoli to the pan and stir-fry until they are tender but still crisp. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed, then add the roasted pork slices. Sauté until they are heated through and slightly browned.
  5. Season the pork with soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Stir-fry for a few more minutes to incorporate the flavors.
