- Rice
- Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- Garlic cloves, minced
- Ginger, sliced
- Cilantro roots or stems, crushed
- White pepper powder
- Fish sauce
- Chicken or shrimp broth
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions:
- Rinse the rice and cook it with chicken or shrimp broth until it’s soft and porridge-like in consistency.
- In a separate pot, bring the shrimp broth to a simmer and add minced garlic, sliced ginger, crushed cilantro roots or stems, and white pepper powder.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the simmering broth and cook until they turn pink and opaque.
